What is the candle wax made out of?

Our candle wax is made out of natural soy wax.
Why do I need to trim the wick to 1/4 inch?

You must trim your wick to 1/4 inch each time BEFORE you light your candle to: Prevent candle from burning too quickly Prevent cracks in vessel Prevent large flames (greater than 1") coming from the wick Make sure to burn candle at least 4 hours after the initial lighting to allow a full melt pool.
Are scented candles safe?

Yes, Per the National Candle Association, Consumers can be confident that a well-made and properly burned candle, whether scented or unscented, will burn cleanly and safely. The fragrances approved for candle usage – whether synthesized or “natural” – do not release toxic chemicals.
